I filled in the contact form for this company when my toilet was leaking. Within an hour I had an email saying someone could come out the same afternoon to take a look. The lovely James turned up as promised and gave me the bad news that I needed a new toilet and cistern which I pretty much expected. The very next day the amazing Chris turned up with everything needed to sort out the very tricky job of removing a 40 year old enclosed cistern and leaking toilet and replacing them with new. I had to go out so left him to it and within a couple of hours returned to a brilliant job done. Every contact with this company has been a pleasure, including the ladies in the office. James and Chris were both brilliant and I am very grateful. Would recommend.

We had no hot water, and because we have a Megaflo tank, not every plumber will deal with it. However, 2nd City Gas and Plumbing are very familiar with Megaflos; James came and diagnosed the problem and then Ian and Lewis spent two days replacing our worn-out boiler (the cause of the problem). They were excellent - courteous, hard-working and knowledgable - and they cleaned up after themselves! Our whole system is awkward and difficult to access, but they managed it without complaint. We then had a second hot water failure (when anything is done in our old house, it triggers a whole sequence of other problems); Gary came and sorted that out and although we were braced for draining the CH again, he managed to fix it without this. This has been the first time we have used this company, but we have been impressed by the speed of their response and the quality of the workmanship.

Excellent jobs done by Matthew and Callum, also Gary and his assistant. All were professional, friendly, respectful, hardworking, knowledgeable. Blocked pipe dealt with. Broken parts replaced. Damaged pipes repaired with new resin-coated lining. No fuss. Neat and tidy. Highly recommend.

Excellent boiler replacement and all radiators too. Gary led the project and he was great. Knew his stuff, was invested in the job and was very personable. Mark the main guy was also super. Thank you very much!
