Privacy Notice

What happens when you visit this site Find My Plumber does not require you to hand over any personal details simply to browse findmyplumber.co.uk. That said, your browser will automatically pass on routine technical information whenever you load a page — things like your IP address, browser type and the specific pages you looked at — and this is logged on our servers in the normal way.

Cookies, analytics and adverts We may use cookies to understand how the site is used and to support advertising. Some advertising partners we work with, Google among them, can use cookies to serve adverts tailored to your interests. If you'd rather not see interest-based ads, you can adjust your preferences at myadcenter.google.com.

Where the listings come from The plumbers, boiler and heating engineers, and drainage specialists featured on this site are sourced from publicly available Google Maps listings, along with their ratings and reviews. We don't independently verify every detail. Any tradesperson who wants a listing amended or taken down is welcome to email us and we'll deal with it.

Your rights over your data Because we are based in the UK, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 apply. This gives you rights to access what data (if any) we hold on you, to have inaccuracies corrected, to request deletion, and to object to processing. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a request, you can escalate a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) via ico.org.uk.

Leaving our site Clicking through to a plumber's own website, or to Google Maps, takes you outside our control. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we cannot answer for them.
