Nu Age Plumbing & Heating Coventry

In hindsight, I don’t think I’ve ever really left a review before — good or bad — for any company I’ve bought goods or services from. But that has now changed. I’ve recently had air conditioning installed in three rooms in my property by NuAge, and I felt genuinely compelled to write something. Over the last few years, I’ve used NuAge for the annual servicing and maintenance of my boilers, and they’ve always impressed me — from the speed and efficiency of processing paperwork, to the exceptionally friendly engineers who come to my home. I also have to mention the office staff, who have always been professional, helpful, and pleasant when arranging appointments and handling payments. However, after the last two and a half days of having their engineers install my air conditioning system, my opinion of them has gone up yet another level. It’s fair to say that the name NuAge certainly lives up to itself — they really do bring a new level of service, efficiency, and professionalism. They’ve set the bar higher than most. The installation itself was quite extensive, with indoor cooling units fitted across three different rooms. Throughout the entire process, the engineers were incredibly respectful of my home, constantly cleaning as they worked, keeping everything tidy, and at the end of each day leaving the place spotless — vacuumed, wiped down, and properly packed away. Not just a quick brush-up and “that’ll do.” What really impressed me was the attention to detail: even walking back and forth to the van, they put overshoes on before entering and took them off as they stepped outside. I mean… wow. That’s the sort of thing you don’t often see these days, but it says everything about standards. When the job was completed, there was absolutely no mess left behind, and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding. Having spent the first 25 years of my own working life as an electrician — both domestic and industrial — I’ve seen the full spectrum: from some truly dreadful installations to some exceptionally high-quality work. So I don’t hand out praise lightly. But I can honestly say James and Tom were excellent. The quality of their installation was second to none. Their attention to detail, workmanship, and pride in what they do really stood out. And I have to mention the apprentice too — refreshingly, at no point did I see him glued to his phone, which these days deserves a small medal in itself. It was great to see a young person fully engaged and learning properly. It’s also fantastic to see NuAge investing in apprentices. Skilled trades need that now more than ever. The only reason I’m writing this review — my first ever — is because by the time they left, I genuinely couldn’t find fault with a single thing they had done. So, a big shout out to James, Tom, the apprentice, and all the team behind the scenes. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending NuAge for air conditioning installation or boiler servicing — both of which I’ve now experienced firsthand. And if this standard runs across everything they do, they are a company worth keeping hold of.

Just used them for annual boiler service and the whole process was very smooth and efficient. We were given a time between 09:30 to 12:30 but still got a call around 10:30 that the engineer would be with us in 45 minutes or so. The professionalism to keep us informed was really impressive. We also got a courtesy call after the service for feedback and we were glad to share that Nathan had done a very good job. Highly recommend them from my side...

Very happy with the job done today. I had a new gas feed for a cooker fitted. The specialist was very friendly, polite and respectful of my property and my wishes and explained everything he was doing very well. The job was completed in a timely manner but with care and skill - the pipe work he has completed in my kitchen is beautifully neat and tidy and he took the time to ensure that the pipework would not be prone to being accidentally pulled when I am moving my kitchen units :)

Excellent service from start to finish. Needed an electric shower replacing, everyone we spoke to from the company were polite and helpful, they managed to get us in the same day which was fantastic . Did a great job of replacing the shower and cleared up afterwards. Definitely 5 star service ,would absolutely recommend

It was SO EASY to get fixed with these guys! Got an appointment quickly, the engineer turned up on time, fee was as quoted: no messing about and no fuss - just reliable, pleasant people to deal with and a totally stress-free experience. 100% would recommend Nu Age and will definitely use again.

Frankie carried out work at my property over two days (13th–14th April) and did an excellent job. The work included replacing radiators, installing new valves and smart TRVs, and carrying out a full system flush. Everything was completed to a high standard, and Frankie was professional, tidy and clearly very knowledgeable. The difference in the heating is already noticeable — it’s working much more effectively and I’m really pleased with the result. Great communication from the Nu Age team throughout as well. Would definitely recommend.
