We had a drain problem and had 2 quotes for work that we were not convinced would fix the problem. AWA gave us 2 different options to choose from, both cheaper than the earlier ones. They turned up when they said they would, did what they said they would do, cleared up very well afterwards, and were polite and courteous throughout. Our invoice included photos of the work done at various stages through the 2 days. After the first rain in a while we can see that their solution is working. Delighted with the work and will certainly use them again for any future drain problem.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can't recommend this company highly enough. We'd been suffering with frequent drain blockages for months and nobody seemed able to find the actual cause. They carried out a full CCTV drain survey of the entire system and quickly identified several underlying issues that had been missed before. The survey found damaged pipework, localised rodent entry points and a number of defects that were causing the recurring blockages. They repaired the damaged sections using resin patch liners where possible and carried out targeted excavations where a full repair was needed. Since the work was completed, we've had no further drainage problems or pest. While investigating, they also discovered a leaking lead mains water pipe between the property and the water meter. Using specialist leak detection equipment, they accurately located the leak and replaced the old lead pipe with a new water supply pipe, all with minimal disruption. The team were professional, knowledgeable and kept us informed throughout the whole job. Everything was completed to a very high standard, and the site was left clean and tidy afterwards. If you're looking for a reliable drainage company for CCTV drain surveys, drain repairs, excavation work or water main replacements, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Very pleased with A.W.A Drains. They attended the property at short notice, did a very thorough assessment including cameras, waited for Wessex Water to arrive, and jointly assessed together. A.W.A rightly suspected that it was a Wessex Water responsibility, but at that stage Wessex Water didn't take responsibility and A.W.A rearranged their diary at short notice to undertake the excavation work, removing a considerable amount of concrete, and having to again communicate with Wessex Water once the shared sewer pipe was exposed to show that it was indeed their responsibility. They were very careful re hygiene and respectful of the property as the only access to the garden is through the house.

From the very first contact with Dave & Alistair we were super impressed. Knowledgeable and helpful they were able to complete our repair on their second visit. Faced with a potentially costly “dig out” they completed further research and were able to design a new solution which enabled them to complete at 1/3rd of the cost. I called to arrange a quote to lift a chamber cover and clear another chamber of roots, following a recommendation from a family member. Alistair arrived as expected and lifted the cover that was supposedly stuck, cleared the debris from both chambers, offered some advise and said that as he had only come to quote so therefore would not charge! Very helpful and knowledgeable, gave me some good advise. Of course I offered some renumeration, which he gracefully accepted. I will definitely call upon them in the future.
