BN Drains was set up by Rupert Hugill after decades of experience in the building trade. The company served commercial builders and households in Brighton, East Sussex, surrounding areas, and London. Rupert Hugill held SMTS certification and was a First Aider. BN Drains held public liability insurance to the value of £2,000,000, which could be increased if required. It offered a discount for NHS workers and senior citizens.
The company provided services including blocked drain clearing, CCTV surveys, high pressure jetting, drain repair, excavation, ground works, pipe laying and construction, sewage plant installation, grease trap installation, confined space work, annual maintenance contracts, and plumbing. BN Drains ceased operations with immediate effect following the death of Rupert Hugill in March.

Rupert was the model of professionalism. Investigated & resolved my residential drainage issues quickly, and without the need for intrusive groundwork ( which another drainage company said had to be done ) Cannot speak highly enough and I would 100% recommend Rupert to anyone.

We had an issue with our basement flat, leaking & could not figure out where it was coming from, after a quick and thorough inspection, the problem was quickly discovered & solved promptly and with a very honest and professional approach. It’s not often you come across such honest professionals who care as much for the service they’re providing! Cannot recommend highly enough will definetly be using you guys for anything drain related moving forward!! Very honest & fair pricing with exceptional service!
Rupert is a great guy and I would 100% recommend. He perfectly fixed our blocked drains problem and charged a very fair price. We have since had a new issue with our dishwasher and he came at very short notice to see if it was something he could fix. It turned out to be an issue with the machine itself, but even though he spent time trying to unclog and solve for us, he didn’t charge a penny!
Rupert has done a number of jobs at our property recently - big and small - and every one of them has been done to a very high standard. Rupert pays a lot of attention to detail, making sure that problems aren't just patched up, but that they're properly dealt with and future proofed. Our tired old blocked up drains are now all running good as new, and I've no doubt they will be for the next few decades. On top of that, Rupert is punctual, polite and transparent about his very fair pricing. I'd recommend his services to anyone who needs them
Rupert is an absolute legend! When we had a blocked drain in our back garden just before Christmas, he came out very quickly and cleared it in no time at all. He's friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also really honest. He charges very fairly and we'd definitely use him again. We've already highly recommended him to all our neighbours and would definitely tell anyone with a drain issue to call him first.
Excellent service and good value. Rupert clearly values his customers and is determined to do a good job. Sorted out our difficult toilet, with good advice to minimise future issues too. Thoroughly recommended.
