RSV Emergency Plumbing & Drainage

Never a nice circumstance when you have plumbing issues however this company came and dealt with the issue efficiently. He came within half and hour of the call out and gave us a fantastic service. The gentleman was very polite and genuinely just a great human being. He also went above and beyond and checked other parts that he wasn’t initially called out to do. The pricing for the job he did was very good compared to other companies and the quotes that we initially received so we are really happy we managed to go through this company in the end. Highly recommend to others, very reliable.

I don't normally write reviews but do want to try and give a fair and balanced review based off our experience. Firstly, I cannot fault the booking process and the speed at which they came out. They were with us by 9:30 having called at 8:30am on a Sunday morning. The call out fee was £80 which is a bit misleading because they charge £80 + VAT (£96.00) but fair enough. We had kitchen mixer tap which wouldnt turn off fully (not an emergency I know), I explained that it was just the cartridge that needed getting out and replacing (I just couldn't get it out - hence calling) On arrival, the plumber was very polite but we were told that there was no cartridge in the tap and that the whole tap needed replacing and that we were very lucky that the tap hadn't burst shooting up to the ceiling. I was quoted £250 for labour, then a further £130 for a new tap, and then some extras including a new isolator. The work was going to total upwards of £480.00 + VAT to replace a leaking tap (which didn't need replacing), when I challenged this, the plumber began to try and haggle it down a little bit offering me 20% discount and the chance to go and buy my own new tap. He did give good advice about what sort of tap we would need in fairness but it still felt extortionate. We rejected this and thankfully got a second opinion, and by simply taking out the cartridge (which I was told didn't exist) and replacing it for £6.00 the tap now longer leaks. I fully accept this is an emergency plumber and pricing has to understandably reflect this but I don't think on this occasion the advice given was fair or honest. I have no doubt that these guys will be very good for genuine emergencies with their promptness etc but on this occassion it feels like it was extortion. £96 gone and a lesson learnt.

Excellent. Responded very quickly to an emergency (broker radiator pipes, considerable leakage of water, no centra heating) and dealt with this very efficiently. Meticulously checked all other radiators and boiler before leaving. Came across as being very honest and trustworthy. To be recommended.thanks .

I had a problem with my conservatory ceiling, it was leaking. He was able to fix the leak and stop it. Highly recommended and good customer service as well👍🏾.

We had issue with leaking in our bathroom and kitchen. The service provided by this company was excellent. They were very efficient, friendly and solved all our issue very quickly.They also made it look much better. I am extremely satisfied with everything that has been done. I would highly recommend

We had an emergency with a leaking stopcock. We called RSV and spoke to Majed who arrived within the hour. He was ever so nice, really friendly and reassured us. He explained the pricing and what the job entailed. He even gave us the option of fitting a better stainless steel connector, which would make it easier - we accepted and he finished the job perfectly. He stressed if there were any problems he would return. Majed is a man of his word, very polite and does a brilliant job. We would 100% recommend him - thank you again Majed!

It's our first day at our new home and we have experienced issue with the boiler. So we recieved a good serviceb form these people and very satisfied with the sevice and it's on time.
