When drains back up or a sewer blocks, customers in Nottingham call on Sherwood Jet-Vac Ltd and the response time comes up again and again in what they write afterwards. An early call about a backed-up drain brought the team out within the hour, with the blockage cleared on the spot and a fair price quoted for the visit. Reviewers describe the engineers as friendly and professional, taking the trouble to show where the trouble lay and walk through the remedy so the householder grasped what had happened.

Colin is named for attending one evening in heavy rain to deal with a blocked sewer, an episode singled out for its reasonable cost. One account covers a garden drain that turned out to need a section replaced rather than simply cleared, and the visit was not charged for at all. Customers also recall being told they could ring at any point with further questions, and that a drain dealt with weeks earlier was still flowing as it should be. High prices elsewhere and long waits for other firms are mentioned by one householder as the reason for choosing this outfit.
