Absolutely outstanding service from Mohammed at City Gas. I contacted him about a small, intermittent leak from my Main Eco Compact boiler. My existing installer had repeatedly told me there was essentially nothing that could be done unless the leak happened live while he was present, and the conversation eventually descended into pointless semantics over whether it should be called “diagnosis” or “fault-finding.” Mohammed’s approach could not have been more different. Before even attending, he asked a series of detailed and intelligent questions over the phone, talked me through the most likely causes on this particular boiler and correctly identified the fibre washer beneath the nut as the probable source. When he arrived, he methodically ran the boiler, kept the casing open, traced the water pooling and showed me twice exactly where the minute leak was coming from. The washer was replaced, the leak fully rectified and the repair warranted — all for a very reasonable £90. What impressed me most was the combination of knowledge, professionalism and customer service. Mohammed clearly knows these boilers inside out, but just as importantly, he was interested in solving the problem rather than explaining why it couldn’t be solved. His young son was also with him gaining work experience, having accompanied his dad on jobs over the previous few weeks. That actually added to the trust and professionalism of the visit — Mohammed was patient, thorough and clearly took pride both in his work and in passing that knowledge on. A first-class experience from start to finish. Accurate diagnosis, transparent pricing, no drama and a proper repair. Mohammed absolutely knocked it out of the park and will now be my first call for any future boiler work. Highly recommended.

Customer service at it's best. Just recently moved into a property in Newburn and we've used City Gas 24 Ltd twice. Once for capping the gas supply to a cooker and today for a boiler service. Very pleased and highly recommend Mohammed and his team. No waiting around, no messing about. Job done.

Mohammed was fantastic! When a DIY repair went so wrong I called Mohammad I called him at 7pm at night in a complete panic, he attended in 30 minutes. He sorted out all the damage I had done got our boiler, up and running so he had heating and hot water. All round friendly guy, honest and reliable. Thank you so much again.
