Gaswise UK

Gaswise UK is a family-run boiler and heating engineering business based in Nottingham. It serves Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Services include boiler repairs, boiler servicing, central heating repairs, gas fire servicing and repairs, gas cooker installation, and landlord gas safety certificates.

Gas and heating work around Nottingham is consistently linked to one named engineer, Melvin, whose punctuality and courteous manner feature across the feedback. Customers describe him arriving when promised and attending quickly, including an occasion when the gas supply had been capped off after a faulty meter installation, and they value the calm way he handles such emergencies. The recurring praise concerns his technical knowledge, covering yearly boiler servicing, checks on boilers and gas appliances, taking out an old gas fire, capping gas pipework and connecting or disconnecting cookers.

Reviewers describe these jobs as thorough and efficient, with fair and clearly explained pricing that they consider good value. Communication before, during and after the work is repeatedly commended, as is his friendly approach and the care taken to leave things tidy. Advice stands out too, particularly one case where he spotted a fault and pointed out it fell under the manufacturer's warranty, which the customer confirmed was honoured. Long-standing clients note that they have used him for several years and would not consider going elsewhere, a confidence built on repeat servicing and prompt help when something goes wrong across the city.
