Caledonia Plumbing and Heating

Caledonia Plumbing and Heating is a family-run business with over 26 years of experience. The bathroom team has over 17 years of experience in bathroom suite replacements. It offers a free quotation and plumbing advice on all installations.

Its completed portfolio includes large-scale commercial refurbishments and smaller-scale domestic projects, including renovating Glasgow City Centre offices. Bathroom suites are fitted in compliance with manufacturers' specifications, and the company can re-design the layout of a bathroom. It serves Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Caledonia Plumbing and Heating is repeatedly associated with fast, effective emergency call-outs, and the name Derek features in most accounts. Reviewers describe him answering the phone even when already on another job, attending the same evening or late at night, and arriving within half an hour of receiving a photograph of a leaking stopcock. A recurring theme is the advice offered before any visit, with customers recalling guidance on stopping a leak or clearing a blockage themselves. The repairs themselves are described as thorough and skilfully carried out, covering leaking radiator valves, a faulty flusher and the source of a bathroom leak, with Derek and Artie both named for a reassuring and professional manner during stressful moments.

Clear explanations of what had gone wrong, along with tips for handling similar problems in future, come up often. Customers repeatedly call the pricing fair and reasonable, and several note the speed of response to blocked sinks and burst conversions. Punctuality, a considerate approach to scheduling visits around childcare, and a readiness to return for further jobs are also mentioned. Follow-up radiator work and additional repairs were arranged on the strength of earlier visits, and the same tradesmen were requested again.
