D.R Gas Works

D.R Gas Works is a boiler and heating engineering company based in Southampton, founded and led by CEO Dan. The company has over seven years' experience and is both Gas Safe registered and F-Gas registered. It offers plumbing and heating services across Southampton and the surrounding areas. Services include boiler installations, servicing, heating solutions, landlord Gas Safety certification, and full system upgrades.

Plumbing services cover inside and outside tap installation, pipework fixes, emergency plumbing, toilet installation, and fixing blockages and leaks. The company also installs and renovates bathrooms from design to installation to finishing touches, and provides air conditioning installation and servicing.

Boiler installations, repairs, annual servicing and broader plumbing work such as replacing taps, toilets and basins feature throughout the accounts left for D.R Gas Works in Southampton. Dan, the engineer named in most of them, is described repeatedly as knowledgeable, honest and easy to talk to, with several customers noting that he explained what was needed rather than pushing unnecessary parts. Punctuality and reliability come up often, with reviewers recalling that he arrived at short notice, worked efficiently and finished within the price quoted.

The standard of the finished result is a recurring theme: boiler installs and pipework upgrades are said to have been completed neatly and tidily, with the working area left clean afterwards. Reviewers also value the advice given before and after the job, and the friendly manner in which problems were handled. Work covers boiler replacement, yearly servicing, tap and toilet replacement, bath waste and overflow updates and the removal of old pipework, alongside general repair jobs. Customers frequently mention that the same engineer returned for later jobs, suggesting a pattern of repeat business built on careful, conscientious workmanship across both heating and everyday plumbing tasks.
